Lake Havasu Dining Guide:

Dining in Lake Havasu is always a gourmet treat with a large number of specialty restaurants serving up delicious dishes from the four corners of the Earth.

The food which is usually rated the finest in the Havasu area is served at Angelina's Italian Kitchen which is a bit off the beaten course on Acoma Boulevard West. Renowned for the best food in town, you have to try all their authentic home-cooked recipes, especially the veggie lasagna, ravioli, manicotti, linguine with clams, San Gennaro Procession-quality sausage and peppers, and sautéed vegetable side dishes. Their house bread is absolutely memorable, dipped in fragrant garlic olive oil. The restaurant is small, cluttered and eclectic, which just adds to the unique experience of their amazing food.

If you want a more exceptional romantic ambiance, head straight to the Nautical Inn Resort Restaurant where you can enjoy beautiful views of the lake from every table.

The Mudshark Brewing Company is the place to go and you can get a sampler of locally brewed fine beers, lagers and ales to whet your whistle, but their scrumptious food is the main attraction. Their pizza is one of the best in the state, their ribeyes and hamburgers are freshly grilled and delicious, and you have to try the black & blue steak with freshly ground pepper smothered in blue cheese.

Other great places to get ice cold specialty suds with your meal include Mc Kee's Pub & Grill, Mad Dogs Bar & Grill, Coyote's Restaurant & Bar, Sandbar & Grille and the Beachside Hut.

Homestead Saloon & Steakhouse, serves phenomenal BBQd delicacies, Max & Ma's Restaurant serves a wide range of diner-type dishes, and Shugrue's Restaurant is the place to go for sushi. Lo's Chinese Restaurant is a great place for Asian specialties, along with London Bridge Chinese Restaurant, Lin's Little China, and Golden Phoenix.

Other great area restaurants include Calamity Jan's, Frigate, Big John's Steak, Juicy's River Cafe, Pig & Swig and Chico's Tacos for some amazing Sonoran and classic styled crunchy tasty lip-smackers. Tex Mex Food is also outstanding at Ruperto's, Casa Fernandez, Restaurante Mexico, Loco Gogo and El Mariachi.

When you're feeling like something a bit lighter, you can head out to Arizona Big Salad, or Peggy's Sunrise Cafe or Marcia's Hideout. You have to check out Rumors Restaurant, Sundowner, Martini Bay, Krystal's Fine Dining, and the Bridge Room Restaurant for some really great cuisine. If you're hankering for some Back East corned beef on rye, then Sir James Midtown Cafe and Ed's Deli can provide you with a tasty reminder of the great delis back home. Do not leave Havasu without tasting Linda's Homemade Beef Jerky, a treat that will have you piling up the trunk of the car so that you will never run out!

After hours, the locals and the wise visitors make a beeline to the Naked Turtle Nightclub or the Kokomo Havasu, the ultimate beach and party bar which is a tropical oasis smack dab in the middle of the desert where you can party all evening, and all night long!
